Originally introduced in 1991, the Saucony GRID SD became a popular performance trainer for all types of runners. The GRID SD combined contemporary style with innovative technology. The GRID SD features Saucony's landmark midsole cushioning system called G.R.I.D. (Ground Reaction Inertia Device). During the 90's running shoes and video games were going through a design revolution. The Saucony GRID SD "GRID Games" collection pays homage to the legendary footwear and video game breakthroughs of the era with tech inspired designs.

The Saucony GRID SD returns this Spring with a few adjustments to the classic silhouette. Four color-ways will be available with buttery suede, leather, and synthetic mesh. The upper incorporates a molded forefoot, quarter straps, and reflective material on the heel, finished with a shadow 5000 sole with an outer triangular lug system for the ultimate comfort, stability, and and breathability.
