The rumors have been cleared up today, as Kanye West's camp has confirmed the next Adidas Yeezy Boost release date to be June 6th, 2016. The Yeezy brand president, Pete Fox, sent an email letting retailers know that the Yeezy Season 2 apparel line-up "Will not be produced in its entirety or launched following a traditional calendar" and announced the next release date for its footwear.
However, although the apparel may not follow traditional release dates, the footwear will remain to do so. Mark your calendars for June 6th, 2016. No other information regarding which model or colorway will release.
UPDATE on 5/3: The upcoming Yeezy footwear collection on June 6th, 2016 will not be with Adidas according to Pete Fox in his recent press release:
“As a first of several launch announcements planned for this year, the highly anticipated YEEZY footwear collection from Kanye West’s own signature line will be released globally on June 6, 2016 in select high-end fashion boutiques, specialty stores and online.””
Although Pete Fox didn't mention directly it wasn't with Adidas, he referred to the upcoming release as "Yeezy Footwear Collection from Kanye West's own signature lines".
