The Jordan Brand's Son Of Mars silhouette has had a love/hate affair with sneakerheads. Colorways and a decent price point have found a way to swing things in its favor while others have written the shoe off completely. Well we think that this custom by NYC's own Fetti d'Biasi may just be what the shoe needed in order for people to rethink what they though of the shoe and its capabilities as a canvas for personalization.
The shoe was given the signature pine green and yellow treatment that covers most of the school's on court apparel with just the right amount of black to balance things out a bit. The entire upper is covered in pine from front to back. The strap comes in black with an awesome image of OU's mascot Puddles the duck right in the center of things. The black tongue is splashed with yellow via the Jumpman and the netting while the inner lining and laces close things up in similar fashion for the upper. The midsole comes in yellow and black while the outsole brings back the pine with white over on the front. Last but not least, we see the heel pull come in black with a last hit of yellow on the stripe, making sure that this was a uniform affair all around.
