The Air Jordan 5 "Black Metallic" returns to OG form later this year, featuring the highly anticipated "Nike Air" on the heel. Last released in 2011, the Air Jordan 5 "Black Metallic" was a colorway worn by Michael Jordan in 1990 and it quickly became one of the most remembered colorways in the AJ 5 series.
We will finally see them retro once again, this time with the OG "Nike Air" stitching on the back of the heel. The Air Jordan 5 "Black Metallic" will use familiar materials, black nubuck on the upper with metallic silver, white, and fire red accents. The sneaker will keep the clear sole and lace lock to resemble the OG pair.
The Air Jordan V "Black Metallic" will release at Jordan retailers on July 23rd, 2016. Stay tuned with @SneakerShouts as more information and photos unfolds.
