Update: The Nike LeBron 12 "Cork" now has a tentative release date of September 12th and will come with a price tag of $250. Stay tuned for more details.
Two days ago we saw the conclusion of a wildly exciting NBA Finals. The Golden State Warriors beat the Cleveland Cavs to be crowned the 2015 NBA Champs. While the series was incredibly entertaining, for sneakerheads and fans of LeBron's kicks, it had deeper implications. We are now at risk of not seeing a certain shoe hit the market.
The Nike LeBron 12 "Cork" was spotted on LeBron as well as some of his trusted inner circle and as expected, the internet went nuts. As observers of the sneaker game, we know that the "Cork" LeBron series has been released as a celebration to his championship wins. Being that he took a loss, we could be at risk of not seeing this model release. There will most definitely not be a "Championship Pack" but if it was up to us, the "Corks" would see the light of day someway, somehow, even if just to give the fans what they want.
What do you guys think? Would you try to cop if these were to hit retail and virtual shelves? Check the shots of the kicks and weigh in with a comment.
