LeBron James had a very busy year as he lead the Cleveland Cavs to the NBA Finals and fell two games short of bringing his city a much needed title. Well after a couple of weeks of resting and reflection, LeBron was back at it as he was seen at the Nike Basketball Academy camp and this time he was rocking a pair of kicks we had never seen before. While the images are a bit grainy, it looks like the shoe he was wearing went back to the sleekness of Nike's mid-90s basketball catalogue. It has a Nike Payton, Penny and Pippen like smoothness, making it an odd pairing since we hadn't seen such a smooth looking shoe for the "King" since his 7th and 8th signature shoes. While there is no confirmation that this is the LeBron 13, it looks like his design team over at the Swoosh is taking no days off and looking ahead to next season.
What do you guys think of the shoe's shape? Is a less bulkier look more appropriate for his power game? Only time will tell but make sure to keep checking back with SneakerShouts for more updates.
