Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry has been an amazing asset for Under Armour, and the brand is showing appreciation by extending his current through 2024, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell
The most breakthrough part of the deal is Steph Curry will receive equity stake in the brand, which potentially could make Curry one of the highest paid footwear endorsers in the NBA.
In a press release, Curry stated: "Under Armour has felt like family since day one. In the first two years of our partnership, we accomplished so much both on and off the court, and I'm looking forward to being part of the brand's story for the rest of my playing career and beyond"
The financial side of the deal has yet to be published or announced, but it will be interesting to see. Curry has been able to sell out pairs of the Under Armour Curry One models in less than 10 mins online. It'll be interesting to see what the brand pushes out going forward.
Stay tuned with SneakerShouts for the financial side as it will soon become available!
