Diadora has been pumping out collabs all year long. This time, Diadora has partnered up with UK's Hanon Shop to pay homage to their hometown futebol team, Aberdeen F.C. finest moment. Futebol's legendary coach, Alex Ferguson led his team to the Winners Cup in 1983, earning victories over Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, winning their first ever European trophy.
The Hanon x Diadora B.Elite "The Spirit of '83" features a red premium suede upper with a kangaroo leather in the same tonal red colorway. A pin stripe collar pays respect to the soccer jersey that was worn in 1983. An "83" appears on the heel, signifying the epic year. Dual branding is found on the tongue, heel, and a back tab of the sneaker. The sneaker is hand crafted in Diadora's Caerano Di San Marco factory and will come with a special dust bag, extra laces, and special packaging.
The collab is set to release on October 10th in limited quantities at Hanon's shop. Only a few select retailers in Japan and the U.S. will be selling them as well. Stay tuned with SneakerShouts for the latest!
