The Three Stripes had a banner year as we saw adidas bringing hit on top of hit on top of hit to the market. Not only were the hits continuous, they were also astoundingly innovative. While we saw Boost models become the shoes of choice for comfort as well as fashion (See: UltraBoost/Yeezy), PrimeKnit was also a huge player. When both techs were combined right as the year ended in the NMD silhouette, the shoe world went bonkers and another massive hit was sitting on adidas' lap as the year ended and they flew off the shelves in a matter of seconds!
It looks as if 2016 will be another big year of innovation as we are now getting our first look at adidas' super green and earth friendly Futurecraft tech which will debut on a Boost shoe. The aptly named Futurecraft Boost model will feature an entirely knitted upper that will feature their Futurecraft Tailored Fibre that aims to reduce waste not only in their plants and factories but the world as a whole.
Check the video below of the process of making one of these minimalist stunners and make sure to keep it locked with SneakerShouts for more details and release dates as the Futurecraft Boost gets closer to making its debut.
