After releasing Part One just about 8 weeks ago, RISE is back again with the second installment of the "New York is For Lovers" campaign. Partnering up with amfAR and Puma, RISE aims to continue to build awareness around HIV/AIDS.
Co-Founder of RISE, Chase Ceparano, has been directly affected by the HIV/AIDS when his father passed away due to the disease. Every year over 1.5 million HIV/AIDS related deaths occur, leaving many family members and friends to mourn the loss of a loved one. These are the people Chase says he has been fortunate enough to connect and speak with throughout the process of this campaign. Sharing his story and hearing those directly affected by HIV/AIDS share theirs has left an ever-lasting impression on him.
The RISE x Puma Blaze of Glory "Lost Ones" was created not only to continue the fight the battle against HIV/AIDS, but to also stop for a moment and pay respect to the families and friends of those who are no longer with us.
The sneaker features a black leather and mesh upper construction with a rubber black sole detailed with red speckles. Heart shapes are cut into the upper near the heel while a black suede panel is found on the toe box. Other details include "New York is For Lovers" embossed on the tongue, "RISE" branding on the heel tabs, a red pull tab, and "Rise For Puma" engraved in the insoles. Each pair comes in a blacked out special box with special packaging paper inside.
The RISE x Puma Blaze of Glory "Lost Ones" is set to release this Saturday, February 6th, 2016 exclusively in-store at RISE and online at 11am EST. at Rise45.com. Retail will be $145. Sizes 5-13 will be available.
