Nike Basketball has decided to lower the price of the upcoming Nike LeBron 14 signature shoe from $200 to $175. Due to a decline in previous sales, recent reports from retailers revealed that the LeBron James' signature line has been performing extremely poor. After cleaning up the Nike Basketball division last month, the Swoosh brand has decided that a $25 price cut will help drive more sales on the upcoming silhouette.
Although I do believe the LeBron 13 is extremely overpriced at $200, a huge part of the decrease in sales could also be attributed to the Nike LeBron 13 silhouette being one of the worst designs out of the LBJ product line and the colorways that releases over the last year were extremely weak.
